Hi Friends,

I called one of Medical center referred by my Lawyer and I am surprised to know the fees they are charging.?

For Adult: 300.

Is this the norm? Please advise!

Looks quite high. I paid $125 for doc visit + $20 for photos for e-medicals + $45 for xray - totally 190$. For a child, it was $105 + $20 (no x-ray)

Would you mind sharing where did you do this ? I see you mentioned e Medical? In that case, do I not need to take photographs?

I did my medicals with Dr. Colin F. Saldanha at #107-550 Matheson Blvd. West,Ontario,L5R 4B8 (905-890-8183) in Missisauga. I did E-Medicals and did not have to take any photographs. The doctor's office clicks the photographs. I have applied under CEC category. For any other category, please check with them before booking an appointment.

Can you tell me if you did Upfront Medical or you did upon you received request? I think you IME no from Immigration to do Upfront eMedical?

Hi, I did medicals after receiving the request. If you see my profile on the left hand side, you'll see all the relevant details. Hope this helps.

Thanks TDCEC. That really helps. I checked with the Clinic and they are looking for forms and IME no for doing eMedical. I guess we have to find out how can we do upfront eMedical.

I did my Medicals today from Dr Shadd in Kitchener.
Cost was $140 Dr fee, $40 XRay, $8 blood test... Total $188
And all tests were in same building and took around 2 hours...

And if you go Family, Dr fee is $120 per person + 40 + 8 = $168

I know that when i did my medical test CIC has a list of doctors and only those ones you were allowed to go to. I'm in toronto and it cost me $250 plus $13 for photos.

I am located in Kingston, Ontario and there arent many options when it comes to picking a panel physician. And they both are expensive! I paid $350 for medical plus $50 for X-ray and $10 for blood test!

I paid 180 for my medicals, 50 for xray and 8$ for blood tests in Ottawa. Medicals were uploaded to CIC in less than a week

as someone also suggested, Kitchener doctor is really good. All xray and blood test can be done in same building.for me whole process took 2 hrs.i paid for family(2 adults and 2 kids) 400(doctor fee)+80(xray) +apprx 16 for blood.photos has been taken in doctor's office, no extra fee for this activity.
