Hi,

I am from Pakistan. I wanted to start my immigration procedure. After being assessed, I found that, I must have a job offer from a canadian company. I am an experienced Hardware (FPGA) Design Engineer. Working since 2+ years. I applied for many openings but most of them prefer local residents.

If I am on the wrong track, can anybody point me the right path so that I can start my procedure. Are there any particullar job search site that entertains international workers?

If I chose the second option i.e. complete my masters from a Canadian Universities. Are canadian universities funded (like Germany)?

If you choose to complete your Masters in Canada as a foreign student (i.e. before you have PR), then you can expect to pay foreign student rates (which are significantly higher than domestic student rates). Canadian Universities are not funded (like Germany). If you want to see some sample tuition fees, just visit a university web site and look at the foreign/non-domestic tuition rates.
