Immigration for my wife

Dear Experts,

I got PR in May 2012. I got married in Dec 2012. Now I am applying for my wife's PR. She is in India.
What is meant by financial evaluation? How much funds do i need to show? Now I am a sole proprietor(Incorporated). Before getting PR i was onstudy permit and then I was on open work permit. Do ineed to show Notice of assessments? I do not have pay stubs for the whole year but i do have few or current employment letter is ok to show?.
