Hi Y'all,

My BF submitted his application for PR after getting his CSQ from Quebec. It had been a while since he heard anything but finally today received an email from immigration claiming he didn't submit his police report, he did, it was also in his CSQ app, and that he didnt pay, but he has proof they took the fees from his account.

What kind of BS is immigration trying to pull and what should he do about it? It is beyond egregious that Canadian immigration would try and get extra money, and absolutely disgusting behaviour!

Thanks for your help!

Hi DFC368,
yes, immigration officers sometimes do mistakes.. I recommend your boyfriend to re-send them a copy of his proof of payment and copy the police certificate. If PCC was issued less than 12 months ago. If issued before more than a year, then it is expired now. Your friend can obtain a new PCC to update his immigration file. VO is likely to ask for a new PCC anyway.
Good luck and speedy processing!
