immigration centre in Etobicoke

I have applied for my study permit extension and my wife have applied for work permit extension 3 months ago. But it is still in processing. Today received an information letter from CIC that our application has transferred to Canada Immigration Centre in Etobicoke for processing. It seems like no one else get a letter like this? Does it happen on anyone else?

I am in the boat as you, after waiting for about 6 months, I was told that my file was transferred to Etobicoke.
