hi evrione...am new on the forum, and have noticed for a while that ur opinions are quite helpful...my qualms is that i have started making moves(with my hubby and 2 kids) to migrate to canada, but unfortunately i have no one over there. i seem to have noticed that it is very important to have at least a friend when you want to migrate to someplace new(which makes sense)...since i dont have anyone,do i abort my plans,i'd appreciate ur honest opinions....tanx a bunch

On what basis are you planning to move to Canada? Are you Canadian? Is your husband Canadian?

It helps when you have friends but it is not absolutely necessary. You will make some friends when you get to Canada.

tnx guys...neither i nor my husb. are canadians...ehm we want to try to giv our kids a chance at a better lyf

Well, I guess then it depends on how bad is your life exactly. It is also good for kids to grow up in the midst of family, cousins, grandparents etc. It is up to you to decide if their possibility of a good life, education, good job etc. are lacking where you live now and therefore would be better for you to move.

What do you have to offer Canada, in exchange for a "Better Life" for your kids?
