immigrate to British Columbia from Greece

Hello everyone.
The past few days im searching and searching for ways to come to BC with my family to seek for a better future.
I am a graduate emergency paramedic from a state school in greece. My wife is a certified tattoo artist and we have a 2 year old son. I was looking of how to apply for the paramedic license.But im lacking information on how can i get my family with me .I think i belong to the category of skilled worker. But what about my family? what about the language ? Does the govermenet helps with living fees? And i dont know from where to start applying. If someone can help me that would mean a lot to me . I have many questions.

You would have to check to see how what you would have to do to get licensed in Canada as a paramedic and whether that would involve returning back to school. Would also look to see if there is a demand for paramedics in various regions because there maybe lots of Canadian paramedics trying to find a job. Would likely make more sense to look at moving to other European countries too. BC is a very expensive province so wouldn’t limit yourself to BC. Government doesn’t help with living expenses. You also have to have a certain amount of funds to qualify to immigrate so when you arrive you have the money to survive for multiple months if you have difficulty finding a job. First thing you should do is take a quiz to identify if you may qualify. current CRS scores accepted is over 440.

I think that i have to go to school again to study the medical terms in english. As i been informed from a friend who lives there, I have to go to school for 6 months while working 4hours ped day there. And in in 8months im done. Then i have to study to evolve from a pcp to acp and etc. Im willing to work very hard. Do i belong to the express entry without knowing the basic medical terms ? Or should i look some other program ?

Yes you claim NOC as a paramedic but you will have to see if you have sufficient points. I would also do you own research about job availibilities. In somewhere like Vancouver it is so expensive to live there so many families are leaving and that's maybe why jobs are available.

You need to see if you qualify under Express Entry. There are certain minimum requirements (Language proficiency (English or French), work experience, education, etc.).

This will tell you whether or not you qualify. If you qualify for Express Entry under the Federal Skilled Worker class (you probably will), the next step is to read up on the Express Entry program, how CRS points work, etc. But first, see if you qualify.

Express Entry doesn't ask about your knowledge of medical terms - that comes later, when you're trying to get your education recognized in Canada so you can work as a Paramedic.
