Immigrate as a Caretaker

Hi

I was wondering if you could help me, I would like to immigrate to Canada and I have a very good friend that needs a Caretaker she is 83 years old living in Vancouver. Is there a way that she can help me with immigration and I can work as her Caretaker?

I can't find any related topics on the gc.ca site, I would be grateful if you could assist me !

There is some information in the cic.gc.ca website under work temporarily and live-in caretaker titles.

I think there is a way she can file for you but you will need to have something like 2 years experience as a caretaker.

You can apply under the live in caregiver program but you have to work as a live in caregiver for 24 months before you can apply for permanent residency. And before you can work as a caregiver you must have at least a year paid experience as a caregiver or have a certificate on a 6-month caregiving course.
