Hi,
I am recent landed immigrant to Canada. My sister applied for my mother and I was under 22 when applied, so I am here as a dependent.
Now, I got my landed immigrant status last month. I know during process if dependent is married the process and the application gets canceled.
But now after getting the status here, is there any time limit in which a dependent can not get married. I mean now when can I get married and there will be no problem with the law.

thanks for your response.

You are a PR now, and so can get married whenever you want. If you lived with your girlfriend/boyfriend before you immigrated to Canada, don't admit this on the application unless it was for less than a year.
