IMM5562 form fill up problem

Hi

I am applying for PR in CANADA in federal skilled worker class. Now i am currently in USA for my PhD for last 8 month. I will be here next 3~4 year. Now should i mention this USA residency as my travel or this is not a travel anymore as i have been here almost 1 year?

You have been in the States for 8 months and you are going to stay there for another 3 to 4 years? Well this is certainly NOT travel, that is where you reside. Therefor obviously your place of residence is the US.
