Dear Friends,

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5481E.pdf
for question 2 - current situation(unemployed, employed, self employed)

I got PR last year. Previously, I was on study permit and then open work permit,
I went to home country once i got my PR for 2 months. I was working after i came back from home country for my number encorporated company. (encorporated). I was getting cheques on my name from my employer. After working for few months i had to go to home country to get married. My option -c from 2012 with low income since i was working only for few months after i got PR. Also i have an option from 2011(open work permit).
Are those sufficient to sponser my wife? or do i need to have current pay stubs. I got job offer recently but my work has not started yet. Am i considered as a self employee if i have an incorporated company and getting cheques on my name. do i need to write the business name(incorporation number) or considered as employed if i am working for an employer and write employer name?
Are current pay stubs mandatory?.

Please let me know.

Thanks,

No they are not mandatory. You could include both option C's if you wish and attach a note. You have demonstrated your ability to work during the time that you ARE in Canada. That should be sufficient, there is no minimum income requirement for 'spousal sponsorship', only to show that you will be able to support yourselves.
