IMM5406 was requested. Should I send the original form too?

Hi guys,

I received a request from CIC and they wanted my wife's IMM5406 form even though she is not in Canada and she is not accompanied in my PR application.

Anyway, as they requested, she filled the form, signed, scanned and uploaded it on CIC.

But in the message, they said like below.

"These documents must be received at this office by: 2017/11/xx
You must upload the requested information using your MyCIC account within 7 days from the date of this letter."

Should she send the original form to Ottawa office? They only gave us 1 week. That's not enough time.

I found some people just uploaded the form. But I want to make sure as this is very important.

I was asked for the same. You need to download the form, you fill it out and upload. It should only take 5 mins. Your wife doesnt need to sign, onlt you

But they asked for my wife. So shouldn't the applicant my wife and doesn't it need her sign as they said "bearin original signature"?

They just want information on her. They wanted info on my dad, i didnt originally put him down as he has passed, i updated the form with his name ect and attached a Letter of Explanation- they want the info for security reasons/checks. The original signature is yours. U may have already put her down i original application but they have re requested so fill out & send back to them. Regardless if she is going with u or not they want as much info as possible. Id upload a LOE.
