Hello, I am submitting my wife's sponsorship application first time and I have a doubt in question 1(IMM1344E).
question 1: If you are found ineligible to sponsor,indicate whether you want to
a) withdraw your sponsorship application
b) proceed with the application for permanent residence,processing fees will be retained.

I have P.R and I am eligible to sponsor my wife as I have read all the criteria. I have put check mark in option 'a'.
My friend said I should have selected option 'b'.

Can someone help me?
