imm0008_Scheudle 3: Economic Class: urgent questions, pls help

hi Guys,

I have an urgent question on form imm0008_Scheudle 3: Economic Class: , the question in on section 12a or question number 12a of this form:

I am targeting to apply for NOC 2172. My designation is system engineer however I work on data warehouse and databases so my duties are still matching this NOC.

so what should I write as my occupation in 12A , I guess, SYSTEM ENGINEER as OCCUPTATION and NOC As 2172 ?
or do I need to write DATA WAREHOUSE ANALYST and NOC 2172 , please note my designation is SYSTEM ENGINEER not DATA WAREHOUSE ANALYST.

Please advise friends.

As far as I understand, the boxes in 12A are supposed to be a pointer that tells the CIC officer reviewing your application which of the employment records you mention in 12B is the one that qualifies you as an applicant in FSW.

That said, clearly you have at least one entry in your 12B answers for a System Engineer (as this is your title) and NOC 2172 (Your actual job description). Now, to tell the officer that this is the entry they have to verify against the job duties of NOC 2172, just fill the boxes in 12A by System Engineer / 2172.
