Hello All,

I am currently a "visitor" in Canada - originally from MI, USA, last lived in North Dakota, USA.

I just started my application and I am already stuck on IMM 0008 with it asking me which Immigration Office I request.

Can anyone help - I am not sure.

CPP-Ottawa processes the outland PR applications for USA citizens. So you could put that. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp

However the decision of where to send the file is up to CPC-Mississauga, so really it doesn't matter what you put here as CIC will send your applciation to the right place regardless.

you can put CPP-O or Case Processing Pilot: Ottawa that is your processing office. CIC recommends not to leave any blank spaces.

I agree with Rob. It probably doesn't matter. When I started filling out my wife's forms the Seoul visa office was still open so I put "Seoul" as her visa office. Between the time I started filling out the forms and the time I finished, the Seoul visa office closed. I forgot to change "Seoul" to "Manila" before submitting the forms, and her app ended up in Manila anyway, so I suspect it doesn't really matter.
