I was recently asked to submit my IMM 5669 online, my form validates, however it will not upload. I receive this error on the website.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Error: The form you have uploaded was not accepted.
Error Description:

  • You have submitted an invalid form. Please complete and validate an electronic version of the application form, save it to your computer, and upload it.

Note: You cannot submit an application form that has been scanned.

You do not need to sign your application form. You must provide a digital signature once you are ready to transmit your completed application.

I have validated my form, checked its the correct version, included my UCI, not included my UCI, tried Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. The kicker is, I uploaded my spouse's to see if theirs would work and it uploaded. We worked on these together, I dont know what is wrong with mine that it wont upload. (NOTE: he is not even required to submit one, we completed this PR application on our own and at first he thought he also had to complete IMM 5669 which he did not, poor guy it was a lot of work.) Mine does have a total of 12 pages in the document but the file size still does NOT exceed the file size limit. I submitted a help ticket on their website but I do not expect them to respond or be helpful. Especially when after 3 days an automated response is telling me to validate my form. HAH

Any suggestions? Worse case can I print and sign the IMM 5669 and mail it out to them?

You can't add "extra pages" in with that form..is that what you've done?

Also there can be a problem if you print it then try to scan it back and upload the scanned version.

So if you tried printing and rescanning it to add in the extra pages I think that's your issue.

Thank you for responding~!

There are not additional documents or files with the additional pages. I had to add many additional entries on their form for personal history and addresses which ended up making the form to a total of 12 pages. Its all contained within their form with the option for additional entries in it.

This form has never been printed or rescanned either. I'm not sure what now :(

If you wouldn’t be able to upload it you could send it through the web form AND also mail them a hard copy with a signature just to be on the safe side.

Just print, sign, scan and upload via the web form instead of submitting through your online account.

Thank you, I did not realize there was a seperate webform as another option to upload other than online account. Thank you again KBH and Ukrainian girl. In a time where I feel lost and overwhelmed by the process you both helped me out.

Ahhhh gotcha.

I had issues with that form.

I ended up redownloading it and refilling it in.

But as others have suggested webform submit is also a good option for you.

Do you have any experience with submitting through webform?

We have to submit 2 documents. We got them translated and notarized in India. Now we are thinking to send directly to CIC or just submit using the web form.
But I just want to know other a experience with using the webform.

Never used webform sorry!
