IMM 5669 Education - What to put if I took longer than usual to finish my degree

Hi all!!

I'm helping my cousin apply to his PR and I'm unsure of how to handle the Educational History on the Schedule A Background form.

My cousin took 8 years to complete his Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering (usually takes 5 years where he's from). What should I put in the box asking for the number of *successful* years completed of university? The number of years it took (8) or the number of years it should have taken (5)??

Thanks and apologies if this has been asked before. I searched the site extensively and couldn't find a definitive answer.

PS: This is my first post on the site. Happy to have found this community.

People who also took longer than 4 years to graduate. 2. I work and I major in computer science; I am worried I will fail if I take too many classes I include #4 because sometimes, anxiety makes us forget that most people simply don't You are by no means a failure for taking longer than 4 years to complete your degree.
