This covers the immigration forms for parents/grandparents who were active duty military officers.
The PA was an active career military officer, and was active in his country's army since graduating university (in his case) until he retired.
During his service, he was active in various military units.
He also had combat deployements, but those are clear and simple to write down.

IMM 5669 asks to list all the jobs the PA had during his working time, and it even gives the opportunity to add lines if the existing ones are not enough.
In this PAs history, he has spent all his life in the army.

Should the PA list all the military units he was attached to during his service in this form?
There are two ways to read this:
1. - From DATE to DATE (his retirement date) military service
OR
2. - List every military unit (with the requested information) in this form

If the PA was in the military, ANYWAY he has to complete form IMM 5546, which asks AGAIN (?) to write down all the military units he was attached to.

So, does he need to write his military history in BOTH forms?
The IMM 5546 asks a little more specific questions, some of them being quite unusual for a military officer to answer.

Any clarifications?

Hi there,

What did you do in this scenario? I have been requested the same for my dad.
How do you go about filling this form ? Did your application approve?
