Thank you guys so much for the info. But like I said above, is it important to list EVERY relatives or it doesn’t really matter as long as I list some of them? Since I have like 30 people left because I don’t count the in laws?

So, in the posts above, we have suggested that you count only your blood relatives (parents, grandparents, direct uncles [the brothers of your mother or father], direct aunts [the sisters of your mother or father], cousins [children of your parent's sisters and brothers], nieces, nephews, and children) but not to list people who are not blood related to you. I know that terminology is different between languages, but does that help?

With an application to CIC everything matters. If they find out you have blood relatives whom you have not listed, you could be misrepresenting your application, or you could harm their chances of ever immigrating to Canada.

Additionally, obviously if there's so many of them, list everyone you know and then you can write an additional explanation saying there's possibly some other distant relatives out there you're not aware of (since it makes sense that there are, given the number of known family members). At least I think that might be a good idea? I don't have any relatives here so I didn't have to do anything there.

I am filling out my forms and part B question 2 asks if principal applicant( my Irish wife) has any relatives living in Canada. Does this mean inLaws? I have LOTS of family here ( I am Canadian)
It means that if she has any family or relatives of her who are related to her by blood.
