IMM 5491 checklist or IMM 5443 checklist...which to follow???

I am a U.S. citizen living in Canada as a visitor having recently married a Canadian citizen. I am applying for permanent residency sponsored by my new wife.

I am confused as to which checklist to follow as one does not include IMM 5285 and the other does include IMM 5285:

Guide 3900 states to use IMM 5491 which checklists for both the sponsor and sponsored person and which does NOT include form IMM 5285
(Guide 3999 does not include IMM 5285 either).

IMM 5443 however, checklists for both the sponsor and sponsored person and DOES include form IMM 5285

Did you ever find out the answer to this question? Your scenario is the most like mine that I have found online and I am yet to find answer to the same question. Which documents checklist did you include in your application?

PLEASE, any info would be appreciated at this point.
