IMM 5406 (Additional family info) fill up in own language

Hello,
I am applying under phd category but I had a problem in filling up form. My wife is back in my country. She filled up the form by own hand and gave signature but name in own language was not mention. Can I write it for her? I already wrote my own IMM 5406.

My question: is it okay to fill up my wife form and take signature from her?

I have another question.
I am going to apply for PR under phd category but at the same time my wife will apply for TRV from my country. She wants to visit me during christmass. I know visa office is different. Does anybody has idea about it if it is possible or not? I am the principal applicant but my wife is included in the PR application. At the same time she is applying TRV? What do you think? PR is usually take long time to process. Is there any chance that they will process trv and give their decision.
