Hello, we want to apply for a tourist visa for our 13 year old daughter for 3 weeks while she's on summer vacation. She has a heart disease.

Do we have to declare this under IMM5257 in Background Declaration question 1b) Do you have any physical or mental disorder that would require social and/or health services, other than medication, during a stay in Canada?

Anyone who could share their experience would be greatly appreciated.

Well... does she?

Hi Jalex23,

Well she has a medical condition but it has been stable for 13 years and I don't think it would require any health and/or social services during her stay. She doesn't have any medication too. I'm just confused with this question.

Thanks.

The question is quite clear...

"1b) Do you have any physical or mental disorder that would require social and/or health services, other than medication, during a stay in Canada?"

and the answer too:

"has been stable for 13 years and I don't think it would require any health and/or social services during her stay"

Then the answer is no other than NO.

Thanks Jalex23 but I just hired an immigration lawyer to process our application. Appreciate your response :)
