I know this question must have been asked a thousand times, but when I searched the forum or the manual for instructions I could see nothing that referred to this.

In the "Application to Sponsor and Undertaking" form IMM 1344 A they ask in Section C about the person being sponsored some questions: name, date of birth, nationality, etc. They then ask the following question in a gray, shaded section: "length of undertaking and ID number"?

Is that something we answer? What undertaking are they referring to?

Or is it a question for immigration to answer? If it is, why doesn't it say, "Office Use Only"?

What ID number are they talking about?

I am a American wife of a Canadian citizen. He is only sponsoring me; I have no children, parents dead, and both sisters are married and living happily in the states.

Is the length of undertaking our marriage? I just don't even have a guess. Thanks in advance for all your help and suggestons.
