Hi again,
Just one more question. I was permanent resident of Canada before and then became canadian citizen. What do I answer to Question#10

Are you a

Canadian Citizen? Yes(this I know)

Permanent resident? WHAT DO I SAY "No" or "yes" as I was permanent resident before. OR do I just leave it Blank . Because they also ask for date you became permanant resident.

Thanks

You would say yes you are a Canadian Citizen and the date that you became a citizen.

O Thank you. So I just then leave the second line : Permanant resident: No or Yes blank ?

Yes .. you don't have two statuses.. once you are a citizen it is assumed by the date you were a PR before.

The form I like is 5540.

Are you a Canadian citizen? Yes
Are you currently living in Canada? Yes
For how long? Why isn't since birth an option? Just put in my birthdate that should cover it

lol yeah that is funny for us canadians born there.. i was like d'oh! where's the since birth ticker :))
