For spousal/common law sponsorship. is it necessary to fill out this form for additional dependents even if you don't have any? Do I need to submit it and write N/A on all the questions? I say this because I wonder if not submitted, CIC may think I forgot and return our application?

When we applied for my wife, we did not include this form. That was on the direction of the CIC's call centre. If there is no dependants outside of Canada, you do not have to include it.

Moving before final decision made

Hi, first of all thanks for all the useful info in this thread...
My husband is in London at the moment. CIC received the application May 15th. I was approved as a sponsor July 18th. and papers were sent to Ottawa. We have not heard anything yet.
We are planning on him moving to Toronto at the end of October. Assuming we don't hear anything by then, I know he can claim dual intention at the border and will have to wait to ship his stuff..Is there anything else we need to consider? Do I have to notify CIC that he is in Canada?
You can put him in the timeline BTW. Thanks!

You'll get more answers to your questions if you start a new thread. Please don't start a new subject in somebody else's thread, it's not fair to them. But in answer to your question, your husband may claim dual intent but there is no guarantee that he'll be allowed in. Being British he is visa-exempt, which carries a maximum visit to Canada of 6 months, of which he may apply to extend within one month of expiration. He will need to notify CIC of a change of address/contact details because when he eventually receives his COPR it will be delivered to his London address. Have you not checked your application status on ecas? I would start there, see where you're at.
