IM STUDENT APPLYING FOR COMMON LAW APPICATION! need help please please please!!!

hi!.. im international student. i have a partner who is permanent resident. we applied for common law spousal application together with OWP last march 31 cic recieved our applicatioin. i got my FILE NUMBER after 1 month. my problem is i didnt enrol in any school since my partner sponsored me, and my plan is to wait my OWP and mg permanent resident status. i dont have work for 7months now.. my question is in my case do you think cic will not question about my status since i am not studying at all.. anybody who have a same experience like me? thank you for your response have a good evening.

hi jom, i never attend school at all.... i got my student permit Last year. then we start preparing our papers to prove our relationship is genuine to sponsor me as a common law. since i have status on my student permit i grab the opportunity to file a pilot program for a OWP together with the PR application. i dont know if it will affect my OWP or PR APPLICATION since im not studying at all.. thank u

To qualify for the OWP pilot, you needed to have valid status in Canada when you applied. If you came to Canada on a study permit and never went to school, it's quite possible your study permit was automatically canceled and it's possible you were out of status when you applied (which means you would not qualify for the OWP pilot).

hi scylla, i came here as a Temporary Foreign worker (2013). when i came here after few months , me and my partner decided to moved together in a same house. That was August 2014 and we are still together living in a same house. since my company didnt renew our work permit because of the monitarium ,recession and hard to get LAMIA. i decided to apply for student visa before my work visa expired. i took English Second LAnguage (ESL) in university of alberta valid for 1 year. im kinda confused because i went to University of Alberta to change my start of schooling and they told me i can start anytime or month because it was valid until december 2016.
