That is why birth certificate IS an evidence that a child was born to a couple. Concerning its DNA - CIC does not care.

You should get your facts straight. In some cases CIC does ask for DNA testing to prove a child is really the child of a sponsor/applicant... and is not really a cousin/nephew/niece etc they are trying to sneak into Canada.

They are famous for their rude attitude towards immigrants but NOT IN CANADA.
And no, Canadian officer COULD not be rude. It is punishable.

LOL. This is possibly one of the funniest things i've ever read on this forum!

Well take it from someone what was born and raised in Canada, and has been here over THIRTY FIVE years... there are lots of rude, unprofessional, unpleasant and grumpy Canadian immigration officers out there that like to abuse their power. Having traveled quite extensively for work over the past 10 years, I've experienced and heard lots of stories from co-workers on their horror stories at the border, through no fault of their own. To say border services officers can ever be rude, is just laughable.

It is possible IF ONLY THERE IS NO BIRTH certificate or it is fraudulent. I said that above. Also, those people who try to sneak somebody's child into Canada have no rights to complain about strict attitude towards them.

bsht. They tied to lie , big or small, were investigated, caught and then told you THE STORIES.
You, Canadians, are naive and trustful. You trust people because you are (most of you :)) are trustworthy. Having been raised in a different culture, quite specific, I can see and understand human nature better then just "Canadian-born".

LOL again. These people are my personal friends and coworkers for over 10 years, as well as my own experiences. There are many real cases where officers act inappropriately.

What is naive is that you actually think that since officers are nice on a show like Border Security, you think all border and immigration officers are like that. Sorry to say but you won't find even a single person here that will agree with you.

Regina, the sheer volume of incorrect and misleading information that you post is ridiculous. You really need to understand that people come here for help; providing them with incorrect information is very harmful.

I corrected you on another thread and instead of owning up to your mistake, you blamed someone else. Here, several people said stuff you don't agree with and you called them all liars. Someone spoke of difficult CBSA experiences of their friends/family and you called all of them liars.

CIC can request a DNA test regardless of what the birth certificate says. They even request DNA tests between mother and child.

But I'm sure you're just going to say that all of those people are liars too......

I was born and raised in Canada. You think that you understand human nature better than me? Better than every person born in Canada? Get real.
