hi i have a question before filing my PR. Coz i came here in canada as a single but im actually married. I got married before i went to hongkong and then cross country here in canada and i didnt change my status. I want to include my husband to be sponsor in the near future, coz in the application form u have to write the list of family members for sponsorship. But my status is single. Do i have to change my marital status before i file my PR and include my husbands name.please help me..thnx

You might be in trouble for entering Canada as a single person when you are actually married but when you file for PR, you still must include your husband in your original application. If you don't, you will not be able to sponsor him later.

but do i have to change my marital status before i file my PR? like do i have to change my last name in my passport and some other documents?

You do not have to change your last name to count as married. It's your choice if you change your name or not.
