I am 28 years old Syrian, living in Libya and I'm currently working as an English teacher and I have an experience of over 7 years, and I am a flight dispatcher as well. I am married, I have a 3 year old son.

I dream of living a better life in Canada and especially making the society a better place such as teaching English to Refugees for them to have a brighter future and be contributing members to the society.

I have an expired passport, due to the civil war in Syria I renewed my passport in an office against the regime here in Libya exactly 3 years ago which now doesn't exist here anymore so my chances of going back to Syria are zero. And even if I go back there, my life will be in danger because my passport is from a different regime.

I'm also registered with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in Libya.

What is recommended for me as a Syrian man to be in Canada?

You will have to wait for UNHCR to assign you to a new country. You don't have the ability to select Canada.
You can try to apply for a visitor visa to Canada but the chances of it being approved are extremely low. This is a prerequisite for an asylum claim in Canada.

If you know someone in Canada that can find five permanent residents or Canadian citizens that are willing to sponsor you, it would be a good option for you.
