I'm a PR, wife is Canadian. What is the fastest way to become a citizen?

I just became a Canadian PR a few weeks back. My wife did not sponsor or have anything to do with my PR application.

Is there any way that my path to citizenship can be sped up given that I am married to a Canadian citizen?

There is no different rule or path to becoming citizen quicker even if you are married to a citizen. If you do not have a status in Canada and marry a Citizen or PR they can sponsor you to get your PR after that point you need to follow the applicable rules for citizenship like everybody else.

No. Everyone will be treated the same under the new rules as it does under the old rules. You will qualify for citizenship 4 years (new rules as of June 11, 2015) after you land as PR. There is no fast path to citizenship. No one gets special privileges.

Special rules will apply if you are serving the Crown or in the military.

I wonder how would it be if CIC were to have a Fast Track Citizenship process? 2-3 thousand dollars? 60 days?

Not in Canada...

The fastest way is to stay 4 years without leaving a single day, then applying.
The fastest way is through the fast-track process available to members of the CAF.

"The fast-track provision will accelerate citizenship for permanent residents serving in the CAF and foreign military members on exchange with the CAF. Those who have served for one year less than the standard residence requirement for citizenship may qualify for a grant of citizenship, provided they meet all other requirements. This means the length of time you served in the Canadian Armed Forces is used instead of the length of time you lived in Canada." Source: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/become-eligibility-armed-forces.asp

But otherwise (for non-members of the CAF), yes. The fastest way for a PR who has not and does not serve the CAF is to not leave the country until becoming eligible to apply.

Speed up? No such thing for a regular applicant.

Unless we are talking SciFi - A time machine, that can travel thru time, will do the job.
