I am filing out the citizenship application. I am self-employed and Q 11 in the Guide says - "If you were self-employed, you must provide details of your self-employment"

What details should I provide?

I am planning to populate under Occupation or Activity as "Self-Employed - Director, ABC Inc."

Is there anything else I need to provide?

I believe they're asking for more details for self-employed because there can be less documentation for a self-employed than a salaried employee in terms of showing continuous presence in Canada.

For example, salaried employees get a paycheck biweekly or semi-monthly which is typically a strong evidence to confirm their presence in Canada since a third-party (the employer) is involved.

As self-employed, if you were working on projects for a certain client say ABC Bank, I'd say "Worked on xxxx projects for client yyyy" or multiple listings if multiple clients. Or briefly explain whatever your situation is.
