Hi All - I'm primary applicant for PR and in Canada. I have a due date for my spouse and kid for the first entry in Canada to activate their PR. I need to know the consequences (for me and them) if they miss the due date (due to any reason). Please guide.

Hi

If they don't enter by COPR expiry, you will need to sponsor them. You will be required to live in Canada throughout the sponsorship process, which will take around a year. If they require TRVs, they likely will not be able to come to Canada during the process, so you need to be prepared to be apart from your family for a year.

is there even an expiry on COPR ? I didn't know that.

It will be nice if someone can tell me how much time we get to do landing after PPR.

The COPR expires one year from the date of the medical or by passport expiry, whichever is sooner.
