Dear Leon, Msafiri and all senior members,

Thanks for all your valuable advice. I have a question.

My PR card expires August 2015 and I am short of number of days to fulfil the RO. I have visited Canada few time and went through without difficulty. I have a job offer for a "difficult to fill position" and I hope to join soon.

My question is - if I arrive and go through immigration with no problem - well and good. However, if they revoke my PR card ( which I believe takes some months) but let me enter can I join my job and can my employer then ask for a work visa and let me stay on that basis

Thanks in advance

You are able to work until your PR status is formally revoked, even if you are under report / appeal. After that, normal work permit rules apply.
