If one is a visitor in Canada, can you work remotely for a company outside of Canada?

I do some paid remote focus group discussion panelist tasks. This I do from the comfort of anywhere I go. My question is "if I visit Canada, can I do this as well without contravening any law, more so that the remote work company is not located in Canada.

As long as the company has no offices and/or Canadian clients/focus group members then you can work remotely.
