Hello Guys,

Greetings from Toronto,

One of my friends and his spouse both want to apply for study permit at the same time. Is it better to apply study permit separately for them or they can accompany each other by any chance.

By accompanying each other i actually mean that, for instance, my friend gets admission in any university or college and then proceeds his application showing his spouse as his accompanying member or the same goes if his spouse gets admission and shows his husband as accompanying member?

Please guide me brothers. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Any suggestion guys????

Does anybody have any information if a dependent applicant (accompanying family member) can study once he/she reaches in Canada?

If both of you want to study then each of you have to apply for separate study permits.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion bro.

I mean, the first thing is to enter Canada together which is the most important in this case. Having said that, applying separately for study permits is a better option" or "one of them can apply for study permit and the spouse can accompany in his application?
