I moved in Canada with visa record along with my children(study visa). I should extend my visa status with extension of study visa of my children. But I found that I need to submit legible copy of valid travel document and passport. However, I lost my passport along with visa record document. What I currently have is 1) copy of my passport (without stamp page) 2) passports of my children who was accompanied with me, Family relation certificate 2) flight ticket of coming Canada.
Can those documents work? Or what should I do?

Others can comment as well but my guess would be that first you need to get a new passport given having lost your passport you no longer have a valid travel document in hand so applying for visitor record on a lost passport that you know has been lost can possibly bring about a whole different situation. Lost passports should be reported so they can be officially cancelled given they can be used in identity fraud.

Expect someone else will comment as well that in effect living in Canada with a visitor record there will always be a chance of any extension being refused but assume you know that .
