Hi I am Manisha I landed in Canada in May 2022, and I wanted to visit India during the semester break in December 2022, but in the future will this affect my PR file?
Because to apply for PR I should be in Canada for 2 years continuously and I think that period will be covered during my degree completion which is May 2024 and during PGWP. I wanted to clear my doubt if someone can help, most welcome.

Never heard of this 2 years continuously rule.

I know that you need to be a full time student. May be that's what you mis-understood...
If you can take this trip without interruption of your classes and still complete and pass your classes, then it shouldn't be a problem.
I assume that you have TRV to return.

There's no 2 year rule. Not sure where you heard that.

You need to make sure you have a valid TRV to be able to return to Canada. If you don't have one, apply now. Processing times are very long.

Are you perhaps confusing the requirement for PR holders, to stay in Canada for 3 years (1095 days) out of 5 years, before they are eligible to apply for Citizenship; with the 2 year thing you are talking about?

As the others stated, you need to be a full-time student in Canada. If you choose to go home during the scheduled break between semesters, that is fine. Just don't miss classes during the semester without a reason.
