Hi ,

NOC 2172 : 4.5 months
NOC 2282 : 4 months

So i would be grateful to recieve reply , that firstly contract experience is counted ?
And secondly do i just need 1 year of experience , as till now i have two diffrent NOC experience.

Thanks

Hi Ernitinbajaj,

As long as you fall under the NOC category jobs, with a paid job, working for atleast 30 hours a week, you do qualify for CEC. You can have multiple jobs to make it 1 year of experience.

Yes, Contract jobs are counted as long as they pay you and you work for atleast 30 hours a week.

yes, you need 1 year combined experence.. (atleast 53 weeks with 30 hours each to be safe)

I Had worked 12 weeks in NOC 4163 and 42 weeks in NOC 2172. I did call up CIC twice and got it confirmed. CIC said yes, I do qualify for CEC.

Thanks, Hope this helps.

Hi,
yes you're eligible. You have to submit 3 different employment letters if your jobs were done in 3 different companies. Also keep in mind that your IELTS or Celpip test results have to be like you apply for NOC 0,A not for NOC B.

By the way, whats your third job NOC?

after i finish i have to look for another contract/Job which can be different or same NOC

After submitting your PR application you can take whatever job you wish. Doesn't matter what NOC.

First, the different jobs and NOCs are fine, you can combine them for the one 1 year requirement.

As for "contract experience," you have to clarify - do you mean contract employee (qualifies), or self-employed contractor (does not qualify)?

If you're not sure about the difference between the two - did the company deduct taxes, CPP, and EI from your pay? If yes, then you were probably a contract employee, and it qualifies. If no, then you were self-employed, and it likely does not qualify.
