If i change job then will it have impact on CRS calculator score?

Hello EXPERTS ,

I have experience in ERP tool and i am working as an ERP tool admin functional analyst and it is for 2yr 8 months. If i am changing my job right now then
1..will it cause any difficulty for me in the CRS calculator to say 3 or more years experience since 2.8 is of current company and the next experience is of future company ?Or what advises can you give me here?

2..I am going to be in the same NOC i.e 2171. I hope this noc is right for ERP tool functional analysts. Right?

3.. So now if i am completing my 3 years in the same NOC in i.e 2yr 8 months in current company and the next months lets say 5 months in the future company then am i ALLOWED to say that i have 3 or more years of experience in the field in the CRS Calculator? and if YES then my CRS Score will go up for me if i am not allowed then SHOULD i remain in the same company for 4 more months till 3 years are completed?

4.. I am unaware of any consequences. If you think there will be any consequences or anything? please let me know it will be a big help.

1. Having two or even more work experiences won't have any negative effect on your application. They should just be specified under NOC level O, A or B to claim points.

It is better if you have a single company for 3 years, if it is possible, as in that case you would require less paper work. Although there is no harm if you show one more employer.

2. While selecting the NOC, the duties and responsibilities mentioned in the NOC should be a close match with the actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you at the respective job. You need not match the duties and responsibilities word by word, but the idea is to have the closest match in terms of the spirit of the duties and responsibilities (at least 60%-70% match).

Also, NOC should be selected on the basis of the match of actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you rather than the designation match in the NOC list. If you are not sure of your NOC, write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca with your duties and responsibilities and educational qualifications, they will help you find the closest fit.

3. Yes, you can show both work experience and claim points for 3 years.
