If friend in Canada issue Demand Draft for POF, will it work?

Hi

My friend having a valid bank account in Canada, he is on PR in Canada, and if he issues a Demand Draft of CAD 13000 on my name, Can I use that to show my proof of funds? rest CAD 4000 I will bring as cash.

Pls share your view.

It is about, whether the Custom officer accept it as POF? Will they ask any cross questions?

No, it has to be your funds, obviously your route would be borrowed funds, not yours.
