if applicant eligibility is passed any potential risks of being rejected?

Hello guys,
I pulled gtms notes of my case which is at stage 2 HK office, i noticed note comments of relationship is quite positive and status has changed to "passed", what's left are criminality and security, as my background is quite clean and straightforward i dont have any concern about them : )
Since we have come this far.....I am just wondering is there any potential risks of being rejected? Wondering whether our application is safe now....
As my sponsor received social welfare and doesn't have savings. In our application we did provide all we can, and there is no where has mentioned much about financial concerns. I'm wondering would they ask for any financial proof later? Or that stage is all over?

I think you'll find it depends on the officer. Did your sponsor get accepted? Being on social assistance for disability will not disallow someone from sponsoring. For the most part it seems the applications go through fine. My partner who is on disability was accepted to sponsor quickly. My application had no mentions of financial difficulties either and after 10 months they requested financial information for me as the applicant. I've requested notes but haven't got them yet. In the end I was able to get through the process but it wasn't anywhere near as simple as most applications (even with similar application situations).

No matter what, if there are questions about finances or anything else, like what happened with Ontariobat, they will ask for more information. I really wouldn't worry about it - there's nothing you can do, they won't reject you without asking more questions, and all the worrying does is add stress to the situation. I know that's easier said than done and the waiting is hard, but that's really all you can do right now.

Rugrat907 is completely right. All is going well right now, don't stress. It's extremely hard to predict when applications are processed. If something comes up you'll deal with it then.

thank you for both of you. If you dont mind sharing, when did VO ask for ur financial proof? Was it before your case status changed to In process or after?
