IELTS verification issue

Hi,
I just answered a phonecall from the mpnp. They have said that the reference number on my certificate was the wrong format and could not be entered for verification. Because I have taken the IELTS exam here on the UK the reference number should have 'UK' in it somewhere and it doesn't...
Has anyone else experienced an issue like this?
Unfortunately the IELTS contact number can't be reached untill Monday I plan to phone them but I'm not sure what can be done about this, my previous IELTS certificate reference number is in the same format, as is my wife's....

I took the IELTS general training which advertised it was for immigration to other English speaking countries.
Any experience or advise would be helpful.

If anyone from the UK has gone through Canadian immigration and taken IELTS for it could you let me know if your TRF number contains our country code? Thanks

I have attempted IELTS in UK and India on multiple occasions in 2019. Just had a quick look at the TRF Numbers.

This is what UK TRF Numbers look like. Overall no mention of UK.
183200********342G
193200********342G (2 attempts, similar format)
190000********814G

On the other hand, Indian TRF Numbers do mention IN.
19IN**********001G (3 Attempts, similar format)

Thank you Aman, this confirms for me that the UK format is different for some reason and is not an error.
I will have to ring IELTS to find out if there is a specific way of verifying UK results.
It sounds like short of flying to another country to retake IELTS there is little else I can do.
