If you want to debate that, wait a minute, read this, http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/features/2009/07/palin-speech-edit-200907?currentPage=1.

i think that it does not matter. if u r not from english speaking country then u have to go through it and even if u r from english speaking country they have the right to ask u go thorugh this. all in all it's their choice not ours.

They make the rules, and we've got no choice. The chances are that even as bad as Palin was in that speech, she'd win sales pitches against say a language professor from my remote village. As dumb as President Bush was made to appear in some of his speeches, the man navigated the shark infested boardrooms of multi-billion dollar oil & gas companies on his way to become the US president.

Here in the UK, some local folks are so pissed off with companies having their call centers abroad, just because they can't stand the foreign accents at the end of the phone.

Though poorly constructed (Paulin's speech), one thing that I am sure of is that the red and green pens are also correcting (editing) one another. Give a professors speech to another professor he will still get something to correct or edit. Be that as it may, just like Sanjeevindia implied, he who plays the piper dictate the tune.

don't worry... even the original speech would've fetched 6.5. it's not as bad as the one's given as 6-band samples at the end of preparation book6
