Hello Everyone,
I have submitted my application under CEC, with my IELTS score W:7.5, S: 6.5, L:6.0, R:5.5. (Whisch is equal to CBL: 8, 7, 7, 6) on December 19th 2012.

From today rule were changed and have to had CBL 7 in each case.
I am worried now, whether they consider my application with old rule or new rule.
My application received on 19th December 2012.
anybody with the same conditions??

Any suggestion Please??

Thanks

Anmed,

There is nothing to worry. You application and scores will still hold good and be processed with 2012 requirements.
The new rules are applicable only for applications wef 02 Jan 2013.

Hello Anmed

i think you have enough points about the english score to get you permanent resident, but my concern is if may i still able to apply to get my permanent resident with my score? I have my skill as carpenter with NOC 7271 THROUGH B:

My IELTS shows,

listening 5
reading 4.5
writing 5
speaking 6

OVERALL 5

THANKS

Hi Joseluis110380
If u r going to keep the application now, u need to rewrite the exam. if you see u r score
L:5 = 5
R:4.5 = 4
W; 5 = 6
S:6 =7
As per today, CIC need all 5 in skill B level.

Hi Anmed,

I have a concern why you said that:

w 5=6
s 6=7
and

r 4.5= 4 ?

why you said that if in the website doesnt say nothing about that you are saying

thanks

joseluis110380 ,

ANMED is correct. Please go through below link.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/language-testing.asp

IELTS reading 4.5 = CLB reading 4

If you gained your skilled work experience in Canada in a NOC B job, you must meet the minimum level of CLB 5 in either English or French for all four language abilities.
