Hi,

I need your help. I am confused. I am in canada working in NOC A category for 2+ years.

I am planning to apply PR in CEC and i had scored 6.0 over all and individual scores are Reading-6.0, Wrinting-5.5,Listening 6.0 and speaking-7.0.

Please do suggest.

As per ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/language-testing.asp )
you need a 6.0 in every category. So you will have to redo the test.

Thanks for your quick response.

I have one more question for you, I am on a closed work permit, as a Database Analyst. As per my knowledge I fall under NOC A Category with code 2172. Am I right?

Depends on your duties. If your duties match the ones for NOC 2172, then yes it's a skill level A job.

NOC 2172: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2172

If these are the main duties you perform, then yes 2172 will be your NOC.
