IELTS score expiring before the commencement of Canadian studies

Hi,
Would it be an issue in getting the Canadian study permit if the IELTS score expire before the commencement of Canadian studies (let's say the Canadian study period starts in January 2023 but the IELTS scores are expiring in December 2022) ?
Is this dependent on when the study permit application is reviewed by the visa officer ?

Have you applied for a study permit? If you have an approved study permit then no issue.

Nothing you can do if in process. Wait for response from IRCC.

SDS or non SDS? It should be okay as you applied before expiry. However you never know with IRCC.
