Hi experts... my IELTS results are going to expire on May 7th. I got invitation to apply for PNP. Is it advisable to go ahead and apply for PNP or re-take IELTS? am sitting at 442 points in the pool. Please advise....need to take a decision by end of this week.

Thanks you,

Apply for the PNP with your current IELTS.
Retake the test or else your EE profile will be ineligible after May 7.
Then update the PNP with your new test results.
IMO, the draws will not come down to 442 before May 7, but I have no IRCC insider information.

Second it, plus in case you get an ITA, you can withdraw your PNP application anytime before they start processing your application. But get prepared to take an IELTS exam and update them with your new results as soon as you have it.
Your results must be valid for submitting your application.

Thank you for your reply. Do I need to retake the IELTS if I get the ITA before May 7th?

The IELTS result has to be valid by the time you *submit the APR*, not get the ITA. So even if you get an ITA before May 7 and you submit your APR on May 8, it will not be accepted.

So if you can, set a test schedule where you can receive the new results before May 7 (to avoid making your EE profile ineligible), then you can cancel/refund it in the chance you are able to submit an APR before that.

Thanks you,

Take a CELPIP... it's much easier than IELTS.
