ielts or french

hello,

i have been appeared in IELTS through AEO but did not get required band for immigaration to canada.I feel dejected now my consultant says;give test through British Coucil.But i wana learn French,please advise what should i do?Again appeared through British council or French is better choice?

First of all we do have some knowlegde about english...
French is an unknown language.. you need to learn french from the scratch... which is not easy i believe

In my opinion try to work on Ielts.

My consultant said,now canada is going to accept only british council IELTS?
Truly speaking i am a little bit scared from British coucil.what should i do?

Even i m writing ielts for the first time along with my sister. I am not aware how well i will do it... But there is nothing impossible.

i recon you should try IELTS again from British Council only, i am sure you will get better result. Its worth trying English test again rather than going for French alll the way from begining...

ielts is better. try to practice daily to build up confidence.

I was confident about my IELTS score but i got less score.so i am a little bit confused now.I read cambridge books and i was sure 7.5 in listening but i got 5.5... :-[ overall 6 band and i required 6.5.. :-\
Now i dnt knw what should i do?

Now i am going to try British council

try british council else you can try revaluation. what do you think how was your speaking test. was it good or ok? and how much did you score in speaking? r u satisfied with that score? if not go for revaluation. in the module you not satisfied and get another date too. if you not that much confident about the revaluation.

AEO is not a bad choice. You can't say that British council is easy than AEO. Dont go for french you have to improve your ielts.
