My sister is interested in the express entry system and applied for it yesterday and got the express entry number and job seeker validation code followed by creating the job bank profile. MyCiC shows that her express entry profile is open and job bank registration is accepted. So it looks all good.
However, we are still confused about the IELTS requirement.

She did a 2 years accounting diploma from a Canadian college and has over 1 year of work experience working as a Bookkeeper after graduating.
She has applied for BC PNP in November 2014 which is still in the process.
She did IELTS last month and scored overall score of 6 but individual as Speaking(6), Writing(6), Reading(5.5), Listening (5.5)
I read somewhere in this forum that a minimum of 6 in each category is required for Express Entry but it is not mentioned anywhere on the CIC website for the minimum IELTS requirement.
So we decided to try creating the Express Entry profile which went through successfully and it took her IELTS score.
Express Entry profile shows that she meets the criteria for the Canadian Experience Class.

The reason for this post is why many people on this forum are saying that IELTS minimum score of 6 in each category is required?
Since she has been accepted in the Express Entry pool, is she ok or should we still worry about the IELTS score?
Should she retake the IELTS test or it is not required?

Thank you

6 is required in all the bands.

What is the NOC? If NOC is B and if applied under CEC minimum of 5 is enough.

Meet the minimum language level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs OR Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 for NOC B jobs,

She is in NOC B (1311)

If you get 6 band in each you will get 25 points under skill transability factor education section. If your score is less than 6 in any module then you will not get these 25 points. Try to use this tool and fill your exact score and then try 6 band in each module. You will see the difference
