So I was reading the Language testing – Canadian Experience Class page to see which were the minimum IELTS marks I needed. There is a beautiful table there where in its left column you can read NOC or CLB. This is not of much help, which is the level requiered? My guess would be 0,A - 7 (all marks at 6), as it is in bold....

Shouldn't be asking this question but somehow I got a 6.5 in writing and now I am 0.5 from the top 0,A - 9 and need to ask (don't tell me I have to retake the exam!!) :'(

For NOC 0 or A, all ielts score must be more 6.

Yeah that is what the table says, but what is "NOC 0 or A" ??? How do I know if it applies to me???

According to the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC), skilled work experience means:

Managerial jobs (NOC skill type 0)
Professional jobs (NOC skill type A)
Technical jobs and skilled trades (NOC skill type B)

I can't post link on the forum yet. But you should go to Human Resources and Skills Development Canada website, Click on "Matrix" on the left navigation side of the page. Open the NOC 2011 Matrix in HTML Link, you'll see the skill type and related NOC.

Awesome, thanks a lot guys!!!
